"Red Carnival"

The Star (www.thestar.com.my) (01/12/05)

IN conjunction with World AIDS Day 2005, PT Foundation is organising a Red Carnival, which will be held at Fiesta Street, Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, on Saturday and Sunday. The Red Carnival is a campaign to generate HIV/AIDS awareness among young people and to raise funds for HIV/AIDS programmes.

Red fm and 988 are the official media supporters for the Red Carnival and you can catch the Red Sorento crew and 988 Happy Cruiser on both days.

The team will heat up the Carnival by distributing Red Ribbons and HIV/AIDS information to remind all that HIV/AIDS is everyone’s concern.

Deejays from Red fm, such as Chris, Tim, Shareena and Terry will be there, together with 988’s Nicholas, Jeff, Loh and May.

Unlike conventional campaigns, the Red Carnival will showcase the vibrancy and energy of Kuala Lumpur via the performing arts like dances, skits, bands, all forms of street theatre and an appearance by Malaysian Idol Daniel. The Star opearates Red fm.
