Since the program was
established in 1992, PT Foundation has fostered a good rapport with female
sex workers and transsexuals and this has driven the prevention and
reduction of transmission of infectious diseases through various activities
such as providing information, counseling on HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted
Disease (STD), health, referring sex workers to half way homes, doctors and
other services.
“We believe dialog is better than confrontation for
solving any problems.”
Programme Missions:
To provide moral support and care to sex workers (women
and transsexuals) in a wide context without
looking down, prejudice or being judgmental towards them whether they are
HIV+ or not.
To provide full support to those who wish to leave sex
work.

To provide up to date information on healthcare, medicine
and related issues.
To provide counseling.
To educate the community on
their basic rights as a citizen.
